The immersive E.coli project is a collaboration between myself and Annie Kelly, a doctoral student also in the Laboratory for Playful Computation at CU Boulder. We are in the process of creating a space where the visitor would be able to manipulate and interact with the E.Coli cell, exploring some of the functions and properties of the cell.

We also collaborate with scientists to better understand and recreate aspects of the biological aspects of the E.coli cell. This project in currently in progress and will be updated as it is built. Below you can see a description of the cell and a time lapse of the work we have done until now.
